It started as a group of people helping each other, sharing experiences, passing on local knowledge and uniting as a community or extended family. It did not take long until a first June Festival (Festa Junina) was held at the Portuguese Club of SA where many people met and became good friends for years to come.
We would like to say a big thank you to our volunteers and the committee members for all their hard work over the years. Thank you also for the support of community partners, organisations, government and the broad community.
